St Luke's is a beautiful wooden church in the heart of Havelock North Village . Built in 1874, it has modern meeting facilities and is open most days. The parish includes St Stephen's, Elsthorpe, 30 minutes south of the Village, and Waimarama and Ocean Beach .

St Luke's is actively involved in the local community through a variety of groups and activities including morning and evening fellowships, pre-school music, and the Op Shop. There are active children's and youth programmes during the week and on Sunday mornings. St Luke's also runs ‘After School @ St Luke's', a fully licensed OSCAR programme running every weekday during the school term.
